Funk Roberts Kettlebell MMA Workout
KILLER MMA KETTLEBELL WORKOUT – vol 3 Using Kettlebells to ramp up muscular endurance is perfect for killer MMA battles. Doing high rep sets of Kettlebell swings, snatches, and cleans is a great way to build strength, burn fat and increase your conditioning. With Vol. 3, you are going to use interval training, switching between skipping and Kettlebell exercises. Each interval is one minute (1:1) – that’s one minute skipping followed by one minute of the Kettlebell exercise – the skipping is counted as your active rest between the Kettlebell sets, but you will soon find out that it still hits your cardiovascular endurance. Thanks for posting this, it looks like a really good routine for MMA
Do you know a good place for me to get some kettlebells from? im in HK
I’m not to sure where to get KB’s there
solid routine!
Mehh!
It does take a lot to do this work out, how ever all your kettle bell exercises are not proper form.
Great routine in and out 30 mins great
This routine is very reminiscent to the High Octane Cardio routine made by Mike Mahler. HOC blends cardio with strength work, like boxers usually do (roadwork). I did a routine like this during the summer with a 35 lb Kettlebell:
1 min Jump rope
10 KB Clean & Jerks each arm
1 min Jump rope
10 KB Snatches each arm
1 min Jump rope
10 KB Swings each arm
I would cycle through that 2 to 3 times in a workout. Few workouts are as effective as HOC! But be conservative with the weight you use.
yo whats the song? sounds like wu tang.
btw great exercise!
this song is daytona 500…. and its SICK. good work, sick workout, sick song.
Thanks for this ; ) Im gonna try it soon!
I dont have a Kettlebell so could I use a dumbbell for it?
This is a great workout. Thanks
Love the routine! Thank you, Funk
Tried it out with a 16-kg KB. Had a killer workout! Thanks for sharing!
love it!!!
you stupid cunt, of course you could but it would be hard to do the exercises holding it
Actually it isn’t hard to hold it you dumb fuck
this is JUST an avg kettlebell workout with jump roping. Thanks for nothing
This looks like a great work out im gonna try and add it to my weights and cardio if i get time. Otherwise i will do it on my rest days. Thanks for sharing.
nice
Nice. I used to do the exact same workout back when I blew my MCL. My grappling coach had me jump rope and swing his KB around to keep my leg strong. 4 months later I actually feel better than I did before my accident. Seriously, before, I was a Kettlebell skeptic… now, I seriously am a believer.
awesome
