wow this guy must be gay, the blonde hair says it all
Why mark me down..i only asked a fuckin question.
There’s all kinds of fools that spend their time making smart ass comments and clicking thumbs down on various YouTube videos. Its the equilvant of a baby sucking its toe. Consider the source.
think you got marked down cos its a bit of a silly question man
Kir Twat
can you do this while sitting down too?
please reply
In general, the more variety you have in your exercise routine… the better. For example bicep curls can be done with dumbbells, or a barbell. You can move hard positions on a barbell to focus more on the inner/outer head of the bicep. You can and should if you have access to gym equipment also do cable varations which include standing, sitting, even lying down. The reason being the more varations the better whatever muscle you are exercising because it applies tension from different angles.
@kingthommmy Its not the question thats silly its the person asking it
@willieofroanoke But I click on videos with my pointing finger..just saying
@coolmanjasdeep There is a different version you can do while sitting.
I’ve suggested you watch Jakub before.

Above video illustrates the benefit of doing cable bicep curls. The one below shows how to do one varation of lying cable curls using a bench. Because of the constant tension you get by including some varation of cable based bicep curls in your routine in addition to more traditional barbell and dumbbell curls, gives superior results.

And what is moderate weight?
In my honest opinion, curling is a pointless lift. It builds power in a range of motion that isn’t used at all, and it just tones the muscle. My advice to beginners: put down the weights and start doing calisthenics.
Yeah this is true.
Uhh i have a question i recently started going to the gym and i did 7 sets of 8 reps with a 20 lb and the next day i had sore tendons and biceps
now are my tendons sore because i did too much weight? 2 many reps? or 2 many sets? and whats a good weight and rep amount to do for beginners
If you haven’t exercised for six weeks or longer it is quite normal to feel a bit stiff and sore the day after. This feeling should abate in a couple weeks IF you keep exercising on a regular basis. That isn’t to suggest that some forms of exercising don’t produce some soreness or even minor pain. If they didn’t then you’d be running in place and not benefiting from doing the exercise. The old expression “no pain, no gain is true”, but it should be tolerable.
That is a good sign. No pain no gain.
If you’re just starting pick a weight you can do about 15 reps of, and do 3 or 4 sets, then take a 2-3 days off, or work on another muscle group in between.
@sonyericson20 Because ur muscle fibers are breaking down and growing back stronger. Rest your biceps untill the pain stops (1-2 Days). Try doing different Muscles everyday e.g Chest and Triceps, Back and biceps and Shoulders and legs :]
I started dumbell curls about a week ago and after my first session my biceps hurt for a couple of days and i thought the same as you,but now they are fine .
It’s amazing how much bad form you see in the gym… if you are doing this right you should feel incredible burn and be able to curl only limited weight.
seriously… it’s rediculous and from my experience the most incorrectly performed exercise are curls…pull ups are a close second. People swing, use their legs, arch their back amongst other shit. Take note, this is how it’s done you noob lifters!
i always laugh when i see the people who swing to bring it up
seated preacher curls are really good because you cant lean and your arms are kept the same the entire time
how many sets of 12 reps should I do a day??please reply.
should i lift the weight untill i cant go anylonger ? and if so how many of these should i do ? please reply
