This one was really fun :)

  • sparkpeople:

General fitness guidelines for cardio recommend 3 cardio sessions per week minimum, aiming for 20-30 minutes (minimum) of cardio per session.

I’ve been doing this one for over two months now (along with a few other videos (for toning), for about 30-40 minutes a day) and I had to change it a bit as it got too easy. I added wrist and ankle weights and do some bits faster or longer to make sure I feel like I’ve worked a bit afterwards. I don’t have the money to go to the gym and these are the best exercices I’ve found, so I need to adjust them now. I recommend them to friends and anyone who can’t or doesn’t want to go to the gym!

  • reginazimm:

how many calories you burn in 10 minutes workout?

  • Dynamite229915:

    10 mins?
You don’t burn fat until at least 20 mins.

  • joygillum:

that was GREAT! thank you so much. I will definitely continue to follow your routines

I have been doing this work out for about 2 months now. I just started doing it twice in a row to make it a 20 minute workout. My goal is to do it 3 times in a row for 30 minute workout. I love this workout! Very easy for me to learn and I am extremely uncoordinated. :-)

has anyone seen any results from doing this workout?

  • caresymbol:

    thank you ^^

  • MsWatcheverything:

THANK YOU for putting up the videos. you are good and no music is nicer ;)

  • neverfadetogray:

love all of sparkpeople’s cardio workouts :] if i’m repeating them to make them longer, is it best to restart before the cooldown and keep my heart rate up? what do you recommend?

  • ranasings:

This is my favorite. You can make it more difficult by punching up your energy in all the movements. It’s an excellent & quick cardio. It’s also really good for core & balance.

  • sparkpeople:

Either way would be just fine, but yes, you’re on the right track. Get more out of your time by skipping the cool down until you’re ready for it.

  • sparkpeople:

Repeat the video for a longer workout. 10 minutes of fitness is quite effective as a starting point for a lot of people; and the source of the calories you’re burning is not as important as the total number of calories burned.

  • neverfadetogray:

    @sparkpeople: thank you!

  • marieh22:

Yeah! If you do it more than once a day and eat healthy! I have done it for a while now and have lost a few pounds, and I’m more toned. I do it about 2-3 times a day, plus 2 toning workouts.

  • wrestlingfan57:

    Is this for females only?

  • sparkpeople:

    Nope

  • 7userid:
