Most experts believe that running is by far the best exercise for fat burning as when you elevate your hearts rate for a period of 12-20 minutes straight, you allow for adequate burning to start. Toning follows quickened cardio as it naturally happens after some days of working out at high paces.
My favorite way to run is on my shock absorbing treadmill (I usually do 15-20 min 5 days a week) make sure it has shock absorption. (this is crucial)…If you can’t get to a treadmill with this type of configuration, try to run on flat, soft grass.

And here is the answer for it:
Women and men don’t need to workout differently. People only need to train according to their specific goals, although men and women often have different goals.
As for losing weight that’s a combination of watching what you eat and increasing your actvity level. It doesn’t matter what the activity is, just do more.
As for food, vegetables, fruits, meats, milk, nut and whole grains. and as much a as possible unprocessed. If your not losing weight eat a little bit less or increase your activity level.
As for tone, just follow a basic weightlifting routine. Starting Strength is an excellent routine, as it work the whole body with a few basic exercises.

Starting today. (I went for a walk and I’m going to do the Billy Blanks workout after dinner)
I really want to get a toned body. My thighs are my biggest problem, then my waist…
Everyday I do a 25 minute walk.
Every second day I do Billy Blanks Tae Bo Cardio Workout. (45 minutes)
Every first day I do Pilates. (Could someone find me a good pilates video on youtube to do? )
If I eat 1500 calories a day, and drink 8 glasses of water.
I know that this will be great to start, but as I progress, I am planning to join a gym and get some good training to build more muscle mass.
