i stuck to your pace and did the squats too so it wasn’t too taxing on the cardio or the lungs but i see where your coming from by repeating the sequence and going faster but i was definatey not reaching my max heart rate zone but it did warm me up so ill go out for a walk up the hill a few times and then check out the next vid for phase 2 week 2 lol ok thanks man!!

I did Ahmad’s workouts every day for the whole summer and fall. And then in December I stopped. So, in 3 months I did almost nothing. I really don’t know why. Anyway, I’m starting all over again. Wish me luck!

you say in the video description that it should be done 2-3 times with little rest if you can, does that mean 3 times through out the day, or do you want it to be on repeat and do it start to finish each time for 3 times in a row?

@PinkRoseAngel you can mix and match any of my weekly cardio workout clips to add up to a full 20-45 mins of cardio activity. Or you can just repeat one or two clips for that time period. For the first 15 mins of the hour, try doing a resistance clip…ie. navy seals, or upper body workout clips…ok?~ahmad

p.s I’m trying to lose fat and build lean muscle. I was a gymnast until I was 15 (I’m only 19 now) and I’ve put on a lot of fat overtop of my muscle mass that I want gone. I’m only 5′2 so a little bit of weight gain for me is extremely visible and I have put on a lot of weight :/…. I hope your cardio workouts will help me shed some of those gross pounds.

@makingthebest09 I’m also starting your meal plan tomorrow. Today, I did this cardio routine 3 times in the morning and then I went to the gym and did the eliptical for 15 minutes and the treadmil on the “fat burning” program for 20 minutes.
I had someone yell out “Jenny Craig” to me while I was on campus today, so my motivation is at an all time high.

Whipped! I’m so disgusted with out of shape I’ve become over the winter months. I’m excited to see what changes will take place. It’s my third day to do this routine and I was able to complete it twice this time. I WILL complete it 3 times tomorrow. Nutrition seems to be the real issue for me. Step by step I’ll arrive!
