I had both of my knees replaced and could not taking the pounding or stress on my joints, so I tried inline skating. After falling many times, I invented the Skaters Coach. 		<description>Weather permitting, biking is great.  It does require the bike and a helmet (equipment costs), but once you have those it is great, lower impact aerobic activity that allows you to get out and around.  I also use a rowing machine (Concept II makes the best machine).  It burns more calories than any other aerobic activity.  If possible, put it in front of the TV or listen to music while working out - less boring.  Otherwise, there are many interesting videos out there, from TaeBo to The Firm and others, which can offer a cardio workout.</description>
