Workout Routines For Women
What Is The Best Workout Routine For Women?

Read following request I got from one of my blog reader. It might be a question you have always wanted to ask as well. Now is your chance to get straight to the point asnwer…

“Just started at the gym, and would like to lose weight as well as tone up. Im 25 yrs old and currently weigh 12 st 9 lbs, would ideally like to drop to 9 st. Any suggestions or tips would be really helpful.”

And here is the answer for it:

Women and men don’t need to workout differently. People only need to train according to their specific goals, although men and women often have different goals.

As for losing weight that’s a combination of watching what you eat and increasing your actvity level. It doesn’t matter what the activity is, just do more.

As for food, vegetables, fruits, meats, milk, nut and whole grains. and as much a as possible unprocessed. If your not losing weight eat a little bit less or increase your activity level.

As for tone, just follow a basic weightlifting routine. Starting Strength is an excellent routine, as it work the whole body with a few basic exercises.

You Need Body Weight Training For An Affordable Exercise System

Body Weight Training
Do Not Like Lifting Weights? Do Not Worry, All You Need Is Great Body Weight Training

In today’s world of glamour, beauty and hotness, it seems like everyone wants to have a good physique. But time constraints do not allow it to us and therefore some people might forget about it. Others feel that getting a good exercise today or body-building is a lot of investment. But the fact is, you don’t need those.

What you need is a good guidance in the form of a book called “The Body Weight Exercise Revolution”. For some, the only way to in building muscle fast is to invest in a lot of body-building equipment. Some individuals even went overboard by investing in their own home gym.

For them, it doesn’t matter if they have spent a lot of money as long as they can accomplish what they need to accomplish. But what they do not know is that they can also do the same thing and the only thing that they need is a good and proper body weight training and the book guide mentioned here is one such good investment, the only good investment that you ever have.

Actually, I have heard about this book guide 2 months ago for a friend of a friend. This friend of mine invited me to a party of his friend. So, we had a couple of drinks over, of all topics, body-building conversations. I can clearly see that this friend of my friend is very health conscious just like us.

From out of the blue, I asked him what type of exercises that he is doing to keep that physique of his. He just mentioned the phrase “bodyweight training”. At first, I didn’t quite understand what he meant but when he showed us this book “The Body Weight Exercise Revolution”, we began to understand.

It’s just a bad thing that I have invested a lot of money on home gym equipment. But nevertheless, I’m still grateful I have learned something about this book “The BodyWeight Exercise Revolution”. Maybe, I can start to sell some of my home gym stuff and concentrate on this system from now on.

Workout Routines I Am Starting To Get Toned
Is it a really good workout routine for me?

Starting today. (I went for a walk and I’m going to do the Billy Blanks workout after dinner)
I really want to get a toned body. My thighs are my biggest problem, then my waist…

Everyday I do a 25 minute walk.
Every second day I do Billy Blanks Tae Bo Cardio Workout. (45 minutes)
Every first day I do Pilates. (Could someone find me a good pilates video on youtube to do? )

If I eat 1500 calories a day, and drink 8 glasses of water.

I know that this will be great to start, but as I progress, I am planning to join a gym and get some good training to build more muscle mass.

Hope it will help someone here to get motivated and do something for your health….

Dumbbell Workout Routines

Dumbbell Workout Routine
Sample Strength Exercises Routines Using Dumbbells

Dumbbells are my favorite piece of equipment in the gym. They are the most convenient when building muscle mass. You can do compounding workout routines, muscle isolation techniques and alternating dumbbell workout routines. You can use them for warming up and for rigorous weight lifting routines as well.

What I have found out is that it is much harder to lift dumbbells with both hands at the same time. That is good because you challenge both sides of your body. You need to learn how to control each hand and you will train yourself in concentration which helps to build bigger muscles. You can actually lift more with barbells, so you will not look as tough when working out with dumbbells. But who cares! You are there to workout for yourself, not to show off in front of everybody.

Here are some exercises you can do with dumbbells:

Dumbbell Exercises For Legs:
Yes, you can have a great leg workout just by using dumbbells. The most known leg exercises are Squats, Lunges or Deadlifts. The limit in choices for the weight of the dumbbell means you have to compensate using perfect exercise procedures through slow and steady movements followed by a three second pause just when the muscle tightens. Aim for 8 – 12 reps and 2 to 3 sets before moving up in weight.

Dumbbell Chest Exercises:
Chest workout is probably my favorite routine to I really am looking for like a little kid waiting for a candy. All you need a set of dumbbells and flat bench that can be adjusted to incline or decline. Then you can perform all chest workout exercises including dumbbell flies, pullover, incline bench press, decline bench press, one arm rowing etc… You can get here more ideas to build muscles fast…

Dumbbell Shoulders Exercises:
As with any other shoulder exercises, you can do shoulder shrugs, deltoid raises, upright rows or millitary press exercises.

Dumbbell Back Routines:
Grip your dumbbells and try bent over rows or deadlifts with straight legs.

Dumbbell Arm Workouts:
When exercises your arms with dumbbells, you want to get into your workout repertoaire dumbbell curls, concentration curls, hammer curls, triceps kickbacks, overhead triceps extensions and also some exercies for forearm by flexing your wrists while holding the dumbbell in your hand. This also improves your grip.

Grip is very important in any weight lifting program. When you have good grip, you can controll your weights with ease and therefore performing the exercises better. Here you can get some awesome Free videos on how to gain muscle mass and other weight lifting tips.

Cardio Salsa Dancing Workout Burns Calories Fast

Many fitness experts see that Salsa dancing can be quite effective exercise for losing belly fat. Besides it burns up to 600 per workout session and is very easy to follow workout routine.  Salsa have great effect on your health because if targets both, aerobic cardio workout and anaerobic cardio training.

Let me tell you what the the difference between these two cardio workout terms are:

Aerobic Cardio Workout – Represents the use of the same large muscle group, rhythmically, for a period of 15 to 20 minutes or longer while maintaining 60-80% of your maximum heart rate. What it means is that you will perform activity for longer period of time while doing the workout routine on low intensity levels. other activities that are also using aerobic exercise are jogging, swimming, walking, biking, martial arts, cross-country skiing and many others.

Anaerobic Cardio Workout – Anaerobic activity means that you perform that exercise routine for shorter periods of time at higher intensity levels. Some anaerobic activities include: weight lifting, sprinting, racquetball, downhill skiing, softball, soccer and football.Anaerobic wourkout routine works the muscles very fast and rigorously.

Aerobic actually means air or oxygen. You can easily remember the difference between aerobic and anaerobic workouts is that aerobic is air or oxygen, that these types of activities should allow you to speak while performing the activity without gasping for air. If you are coming short of a breath, gasping for air during your activity you are very likely working anaerobically – which means faster, harder and at a higher intensity.

The continual movement of the salsa dance style steadily burns calories but also tones the body – most specifically the legs. But not only does it tone the body but it also adds strength to muscles without the high impact of most other exercises like weight training or running.

Salsa is also an excellent exercise choice because it combines individual dance routines that can also be paired up with a partner. Actually, salsa dancing can be practiced alone and then adding a partner for added excitement. The social charm that partnered salsa dancing has is very appealing.

A night of dancing is an excellent workout.

My wife comes from Latin American country where dancing is a tradition and part of their daily life routines. In fact I have never seen any other culture during my travels that dances every day of their life. If you are just learning to salsa dance you most likely will be working anaerobically. But as you advance to quicker salsa movements that are more complex like the professional salsa dancers twirling through the air with jumps and intense spins requiring strength, you will most likely be working your body anaerobically. This means that your muscles are working at a high intensity level.

In general, salsa dancing is an excellent workout. You’ll get fit, more toned and look better but also have fun while you’re doing it! Start joining the salsa craze now by visiting Salsa Dance 101 website….
